For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Rom 3:23).

So, I was having a conversation with an old friend the other day, and this issue about the fact that we are all awful sinners, and none of us is good, came up.  It is actually something I have an issue with, because many people seem to misunderstand the power of God at work in our lives through the blood of Christ…  The power by which those who are saved “cannot continue to sin” as John wrote (1 John 3:9).
